1. Who we are
The Founder Brain is made by Saltz AI LLC (“Saltz”, “we”), a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, United States, with a registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. You can reach us at bruno@saltz.ai. This policy covers The Founder Brain, the software. The privacy policy for the saltz.ai website is a separate page.
2. What The Founder Brain is
The Founder Brain is software you install on your own Mac. It runs on your computer, inside Claude Code, under your own account with Anthropic. Saltz does not operate a server that receives your data. We cannot see your calendar, your mail, your files or your numbers. The software sends nothing to Saltz: no usage statistics, no error reports, no content.
3. What Google data the software accesses, and why
When you connect your Google account, the software asks for permission to:
- read your calendar, so it can show you today and the week ahead and find free slots when you want to book something; it creates an event only when you ask;
- read your mail, so it can show you what is unread and what you are waiting for; apply labels, archive and mark mail read when you ask, so it can keep your inbox organised; create drafts, so a reply or an ask is ready for you to send, ending with your own signature. The software never sends email. Every version is tested to make sure no part of it can;
- create a spreadsheet for your numbers, and one for your invoices, in your own Drive when you ask for one. It reaches only the files it creates, never the rest of your Drive;
- read your numbers spreadsheet, so it can show you today’s figures each morning; write only to a sheet it created for you.
4. How the software uses this data
Only to show you your own information and to act on your instructions, on your Mac. It does not profile you, does not advertise to you, and does not combine your data with anyone else’s.
5. Where the data is stored
On your Mac, inside the folder you installed the software in. The token that lets the software reach your Google account is kept in a file that only your user account can read. Mail, calendar entries and documents are read when you use the software; what you choose to keep stays in your own notes on your Mac. Nothing is copied to Saltz.
6. AI processing
The software is operated through Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, running under your own account with Anthropic (Claude Code, and for some optional features the Anthropic API with your own key). When you ask the software to read or summarise something from your Google account, that content is sent to Anthropic to produce the answer, under your own agreement with Anthropic and Anthropic’s privacy policy. Saltz does not receive it. Saltz never uses Google user data, and the software does not use it, to develop, improve or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your Google data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not share it with anyone else. No person at Saltz reads it: we never have it.
8. Google’s Limited Use requirements
The Founder Brain’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Your control
You can disconnect your Google account at any time: tell the software to disconnect Google, or delete the token file from the software’s folder, or remove The Founder Brain from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the software’s folder removes everything it stored.
10. Retention
Saltz retains nothing, because Saltz receives nothing. On your Mac, data stays until you delete it.
11. Security
The software keeps your access token in a file restricted to your user account, talks to Google only over encrypted connections, and runs no server reachable from outside your Mac. We recommend keeping your Mac’s disk encryption (FileVault) on.
12. Children
The Founder Brain is for founders and their teams. It is not directed to anyone under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change it, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date.
